Design Your Own Jewelry - How It Works

Creating an item of jewelry that is unique for you is all about making something that meets your expectations and fulfills your dreams. It all starts with our intention to create exactly what you have in mind.

•  First, we start with an exact meeting of the minds. Laurie must see what you see in your mind's eye so she can convert it from thought to wax carving.

•  From the idea stage, we look at our materials. Materials are metals – gold or platinum; stones – diamonds, gemstones, pearls; and hardware – the parts that pull it all together. We can work with materials from your existing jewelry or create from scratch.

•  Once a picture is drawn, then a wax is carved.

•  You then approve or make changes to the wax.

•  Once the wax meets your expectations, the casting and setting of stones occurs.

•  At the end of the journey, your custom piece is finished.

•  The entire process can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project.

We take the designing and approval process slowly, step-by-step, until Laurie is positive she knows exactly what you want and she feels your comfort and trust have been reached and the design you want attained.
