Laurie and her husband, Justin, began Diamonds Galore 33 years ago. Building on two generations of jewelers begun by a treasured uncle in Belgium, Laurie took his approach of being a "Dutch uncle" jeweler and made it her own. Starting with jewelry parties at friend's homes, they built their business one referral at a time. In short order, Laurie became known as "the diamond lady"; establishing a reputation for her enthusiasm, no-holds barred honesty, quality diamonds and exceptional prices. She opened her first private salon a few years later.

Everyone who walked in the door received a complete diamond education. She was teaching the four "C"s to her clients, long before the rest of the retail industry jumped on-board. Laurie has always been a trend-setter. She believes that every person deserves a fair price and an exceptional experience.
